Grand Hotel 1932 Trailer

Trailer for the 1932 Oscar Winning Grand Hotel

Quick Plot

Set in Berlin’s most exclusive hotel, where in the words of disfigured WWI war vereren Dr. Otternschlag “People come, people go; nothing ever happens” – words he also ends the film with. However as the film unfolds this is shown not to be true as broke swindler Baron von Geigern tries to steal from Grusinskaya before falling for her  instead. Plenty of other sub plots bubble along and the 112 minutes of the film seems to pass remarkably quickly. Worth watching for Greta Gabos famous line “I want to be alone”.
